Consumer research firm MyType conducted a study from 20,000 people and their opinions where analyzed.

The conclusion: iPad owners tend to be wealthy, sophisticated, highly educated and disproportionately interested in business and finance, while they scored terribly in the areas of altruism and kindness. In other words, 'selfish elites.' 'They are six times more likely to be “wealthy, well-educated, power-hungry, over-achieving, sophisticated, unkind and non-altruistic 30-50 year olds.

Wow: Do you feel yourself well described into this group?

Science, studies, proves, 20,000 samples... humm, what do they prove?. Not, seriously the weakest point in science is, well, the human factor. Another study will prove exactly the opposite and a third one will be inconclusive.

Yes, they do show some facts indeed, but my point is, is this what is expected on the most common iPad user. Or is this a case of very high incidence of these persons into a broad spectrum. This group of people could represent 15% total, when in other products it could be 2.5%. From this to the big general 60% of iPad users what does it means? I need to read about the study, but because this is a consumer study and the words are strong I don't want to buy it yet as it is presented. There is a lot of manipulation going on and lots of hidden interests everywhere.
