IPAD connected but cannot browse web

Hi, I have brand new ipad. I am connected to my home wifi network - have a check mark but safari will not browse and will not connect to itunes store.

If you log into your router and check your network settings or the DHCP list, see if your iPad shows up and has an IP. If so..then I don't know what to tell you. If it doesn't have an IP, go into your iPad and into the wireless section. Touch on the blue button next to your home network and touch on release (or renew, i don't have an iPad but it's mostly the same as my iPod Touch) you should then be given a new IP and it SHOULD work. If not, let us know what you tried and what you saw in your DHCP list.

I have the same problem...last night everything was great (on the same router) safari, google earth, youtube...now wifi shows ok but message in all apps says could not connect...tried resetting network, resetting all settings, and finally resetting content and settings and reloading from itunes. made no difference...My daughter downloaded 3 games (free apps)...wondering is that screwed it up.
