Specs: 8.0.2
I upgraded my iPad Air to iOS 8.0.2 and still my ipad is very slow on wifi and also drop the wifi Signal. I was told by my provider that it was not my router or their equipment. I even had a technician come to my home to check. Are there any others out there having the same problem? Apple told me over the phone it was my provider.

That's a common scenario - - Apple blames your ISP, your ISP blames the Apple hardware.

In truth, if only wireless is affected, it cannot be be your internet provider's fault at all. They have no control over your wireless performance. That's hardware or Windows problem.

Try changing the wireless channel on your router from "Automatic" to "Manual", then set it to a high channel between 9 & 12.

If still no improvement consider buying a third-party wireless router to replace the crap free one. That's what I did.

Also be aware that iOS 8, 8.0.1, & 8.0.2 are riddled with problems including WiFi problems such as dropping or not even connecting. Hopefully Apple will sort this out soon.
