Specs: ios 8
on my Pad i started having problems opening sites. some will open then close immediately. safari all but doesn't work. i cant upload pics to arms list and AOL will stay open but after the first click it strobes back and forth between article and key board. I've never had any of these issues but they started immediately after installing IOS 8. i purchased an Phone 6 last Sat. and it will open sites but will not allow me to upload pics to arms list. No speed issues with Phone but Pad has gone from Mb to 18 and has increased battery use! thanks

Do seem to more than few issues with latest ios from Apple-land... Will avoid it for now and let the dust settle; and wait for the inevitable update work its way through before considering upgrading to it (on my iPad2).

I had this problem with ios 8 and Safari which I managed to get working again. Hopefully this works for you too.

Edit: I closed all open browser windows in Safari first.

I closed all processes by double clicking the home button and swiping all open programs up until they were all gone but the home screen.

Next I went into "Settings" then "Safari" and clicked "Clear History and Website Data"

Then I powered my iPhone down and restarted it.

My Safari app started working normally again and I haven't experienced any glitches since.

One other idea in the event that my solution doesn't work for you is an alternative browser. I use both Dolphin and Opera browsers. My pick of the two would be opera though. It's very intuitive and easy to use.

Edit: Just as a temporary solution until Apple iron out the creases with iOS 8 if need be.

No probs trvlr. I hope it works for the OP (and others too), there have been quite a few reports of iOS 8 instability lately. Thank goodness my only concern was that which the OP described. Fingers crossed.
