Specs: Macintosh
Could someone tell me if it is possible to look over the ibook apple library from your desktop, instead of browsing through the titles on your ipod...which is difficult to see sometimes. Thanks.

Hi, my suggestion is a remote desktop manager app like "Jaadu Remote Desktop for Windows". It will cost you $25 and will let you have access to your PC and software including iTunes with a Wi-Fi, 3G, or EDGE connection. This app is designed as a business app so I don't know how intuitive or easy to use is. Also I haven't tried myself and there are more remote desktop apps like this available so read about them first.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Actually, what I
meant to say was - can you access, browse and buy books on
the apple bookstore through your desktop computer. Kobo, for
example, has a website where you purchase ebooks from either
your ipod or desktop computer, and it's downloaded to your ipod
when you want. I can't find the apple bookstore online anywhere
when I google it, just the app, which I already have.

I get what you want to do, but I don't think it's possible right now as Apple does not provides any information about this. However, I checked on iTunes and on the "App Store" tab you have a down arrow. Click on it and the list displayed shows "Books". But this books are standalone apps and they don't work inside or with books applications like iBooks.
