Solved i want to remove photos from my phone but it will not let me

Specs: Windows 7
i transferred some photos from my laptop to my phone by mistake and it will not let me delete them, i stopped transfer when i realized what was happening but i want to remove the photos that had all ready gone across to my phone. when I click on the edit it does not come up with the red delete sign for these particular photos.

Remove the photos from iTunes on your computer, then sync your iPhone. It will remove them from your phone.

But... if you want to retain them on your computer... after deleting them from your iPhone, first copy them to somewhere else on the computer; and perhaps (ideally) onto external media as well.

You don't need to delete them from you computer, you just need to remove the checkbox from that folder in iTunes so it won't sync that particular folder with your phone.

You know that, I know that.. but possibly our poster doesn't - although (s)he does now..

However in order to avoid mistakes (and I have made a couple myself when syncing an iPad to a Mac - fortunately nothing serious and I gained useful knowledge from it) I suggest it's wise(r) to ensure those photos are duplicated securely elsewhere - just in-case...?
