Can I connect my iPad 2 to my TV through my Blue Ray player? How? Do I need another adapter? I put it on HMI 2? Need the steps and what I need to do this. Thank you
If your blu-ray device is just a player, then there aren't going to be any inputs on it, you would need to connect your iPad to your TV either with an adapter that changed the 30 pin connection to HDMI or you could purchase an Apple TV box and view your iPad through that.
Very few people have a blueray recorder; more often a player only? So as per thx1138 - you would connect an iPad directly via a suitable adapter. Even if you do have a recorder... why make it all more complicated. Golden rule KISS - Keep It Simple S..... These links may be of interest:
and this link is probably more current and complete for most/all iDevices...?
Incidentally one has to be careful to buy either e genuine Apple cord/adapter; or one (another brand) that is known to be fully compatible. Some of the non Apple branded cables/adapters around are not quite as they ought to be... Reviews on Amazon etc. often flag this issue as a problem. Usually t's issues with sound that crop up; it may not "be there" on the tv.
