Specs: Windows 7 pro, 4g
we have some students that seem to be bypassing our block on the facebook webpage, we are able to remove the app and they cannot reinstall but we have a student that is somehow going around the web page block, my thought would be possible a site that hides your ip but haven't been able to test that since that is blcoked at school. ipad air

They are probably going to facebook via their home router. Maybe something like this would work better than whatever you are using:
http://classroom.synonym.com/block-...
It is important that it is protected with a complex passcode.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

My thoughts would be to threaten him with a failing grade unless he conforms to the school's rules.

If the iPads are connecting by the school's wireless router, you can probably set the router to block certain sites. What model router are you using?

at school it does seem to be blocked but the setting or restriction we set on the ipad arent working when at home which it should so there must be a different path to facebook or they are getting around it somehow

Block the site (and any others you may feel to) via the router... Also perhaps rather than threaten to fail his grades... up that to dismissal from the school - and advise his parents too of his current practices and behaviour...?
