Solved Google Search has stopped working on my Apple iPhone 6 and I

Google Search has stopped working on my Apple iPhone 6. Message shown reads: Safari could not open the page because the Server stopped working. I'm not sure which server it is referring to as my wi-fi router is working 100%. Any suggestions please as I'm getting no response from the Forum.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Other sites work OK presumably?

Fully reboot your iPhone; and also clear history. And while you're at it - power cycle your router (as in switch it off, remove power cord for a minute or two and then restore power to it) and see if that resolves the problem.

I have found occasionally that the problem is actually with google-land when that message appears; and sometimes the above router power cycle is the solution - and not google fixing a problem at their end.

Tak Dawie for feedback.

My suggestions were originally given here by various others in the past.

Whenever there are connectivity problems a router reboot often resolves them. And likewise a full reboot of the device may be the cure on occasion. Sometimes it’s one, sometimes t’other; and sometimes it’s both.
