Solved Find my ipad using a mac

Specs: Macintosh
MOVED RECENTLY AND I CAN'T FIND MY IPAD. HOPEFULLY IT IS IN A BOX BUT AFTER 3 DAYS OF SEARCHING WE ARE SUSPECTING FOUL PLAY. IS THERE A WAY TO FIND A IPAD MINI USING A MAC? THANK YOU

You should be able to locate your iPad with any Internet networked device by using iCloud providing you have:
1) Set up find my iPhone on the device you want to locate
2) It is switched on and the battery hasn't run dead
3) It is within reach of a network signal

It won't tell the exact location but rather its vicinity. If the blue dot is above your current location it will likely be packed away somewhere. If the blue dot is in an entirely different suburb then yeah foul play could be at hand.
