files waiting to be burned to disc

September 7, 2011 at 20:19:07
Specs: Windows Vista, Duo CPU 1.5 Ghz
I transferred brothers wedding video from my Iphone4 (brand new) to my PC - Vista, Home Premium. When I went to burn the CD the PC says "you have files waiting to be burned to Disk" "To see files now, click this ballon" I click the button, says I have to have a formatted disk. I format disk that now reads - there are no files to see to burn....nothing is there and the video is gone from the Iphone....any ideas?

Thanks

Using Windows Explorer, navigate your way along this path:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary Burn Folder

Tip: you may have to enable Show hidden files & folders in Control Panel > Folder Options.

Your video should be in there. I don't use that method for burning files to disc as I prefer to use dedicated burning software so this following bit may be wrong: The file inside that folder may only be a shortcut. If so, right-click the shortcut and choose "Properties". It will tell show you where the actual file is.
