Specs: Windows 7
I have documents I transfer by e mail to my I pad. I receive the e mail on i pad and save it as document. Apps like "pages" and "document to go" helped me before. Now
it does not give me option to save it in "pages" or in "documents to go"

I don't have a fix for you but may I suggest using DropBox instead. You can save all your documents on DropBox then read/edit them from either your iPad or computer. And once you install DropBox on your iPad, it will show up in programs that can edit documents such as Pages.
