How do you delete the blue highlighted boxes that pop up constantly around words, phrases and parenthesis? It is driving me crazy and will have no use for it in the future. Please anyone help with simple directions since I am a one month newbie and grandma to IPad.

Thank you to all in advance.

I think you posted in someone else's post

http://www.computing.net/answers/ip...

But there's no reason to be rude, he gave you a link that deals with the question if copy and paste can be turned off. If you don't like the answer, then take your attitude somewhere else.

I apologize for my reply. Chalk it up to a day from h... But not your problem. All other answers to other things have been frustrating. Thanks a lot for your help, it was great, hope you will excuse me.

It's ok Peg but you have to realize we are all just computer users like you who try to help each other, and we do understand your frustration. Did you ever get your problem figured out?

To THX, from all the many (and I mean many) sites and kind people that took time to answer, there is no way to disable the mean blue copy boxes. I can't believe how many out there are frustrated, too. I have to lighten up on my touch and not be touching any text, pics, etc when I'm scrolling. I'll get the hang of all the little intricacies. Thanks for asking.
