Sometimes resetting the network connection on your iPhone will help.

On your phone go into Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings

Does it see the Wireless Network ? Is it asking for a PassPhrase ?

Even though it sees my network, it will not accept the password. I know it is the right password because it works getting into the linksys page when I enter the IP address. Rebooted everything many times but the Iphone will not accept the entry of the password.

Usually Linksys routers work well with idevices. Have you tried connecting to a different Wi-Fi signal for testing purposes? If you have a Starbucks in your area, head down there and see if you can connect on their network.

The only other suggestion I can think of is your router is an older model, you might see if there is a firmware upgrade for it. If so, download and install it.
