As far as i know, unless someone gains physical access to your ipod, jail breaks it and then installs some bespoke software, i doubt your ipod has been hacked. What you could do just to be sure, is reset the ipod to factory settings, this can be done from the settings menu.

This will wipe your ipod completely so you'll have to put all your music back on to it, but at least you can be confident that no one is watching you.......

On another note, you mention that you wifi was hacked, how do you know?
What router do you have?

Do you have a firewall on your computers at home?
if not then i would recommend you install ZoneAlarm free (although the paid version is better)

Do you have an Anti Virus?
if not then i would recommend you install AVG free

If you really want to scan your PC i would also suggest the following software:

MalwareBytes
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebyt...

Spybot search and destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/dl/

SuperAntispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

All free and available if you google them

I honestly dont think your ipod can be infected, the IOS is needs to be jailbroken in order to execute a virus, and if your ipod is not jailbroken i wouldnt worry too much about it. Having said that, i you are still concered, instead of trying to find an application to scan it, which i doubt will work anyways, i would just reset the ipod to factory and be done with it that way you can be sure the virus, if any are gone.

In terms of wifi, i understand it can be a bit dawnting but no need to worry, if you have questions just post them here and the experts on this site will no doubt help, we are a friendly bunch :)

As long as you have a password set for your wifi and have either WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption enabled (depending on your router) you should be fine. A firewall is also recommended for an additional layer of security.

It may be worth backing your photos up onto a DVD/Blueray disk, hard drives at some point will fail, sometimes without warning, it is possible to recoever data on a failed hard drive sometimes, but it is expensive.

You can scan your usb drives, just plug them in before you run a scan and they should be scanned automatically. Some programs like AVG will give you the option to select which drives you want to scan

So you clarify:

Your ipod cannot be infected unless its jailbroken

Im not aware of any ipod scanning tools, but if you still want to be sure i would reset to factory

Backup your data to a DVD of Blueray

Download the software i recommended above update them once installed and perform a full scan.

Let us know how you get on
