I am investigating further about jailbreaking iPads, iPhones or iPods on stability not functionality. And founded most critical failures are related to devices that were jailbroken. No statistics, just reading and finding out.

The general suggestion is if you need your device mostly for work and travel don't try to jailbreak it. If you have the device at home or it doesn't play a vital role on your business or at work then do what you need. I am not saying you should try this.

Also, Apple sent the message they may brick your device if jailbroken. Friends, I don't know where this leave us standing. Obviously Apple doesn't want us to try this jailbreaks and they are not happy with the now legal possibility.

Do what you think is best for you, and if you jailbreak your device DON"T download every app that you find on the internet. JUST download those you are sure are safe.

I undertand for some people it may be a must to get everything they can from their devices. Even it may be a must to have only one device inside their pockets to do everything. But I don't care to use only the apps developed and approved on the App Store, or by Apple. Risk the security much more, the need to restore the device at any time for an uncertain reason kills the idea for me for a device I expect to work every time. And who am I going to call or take the device on a failure. I am not saying Apple is perfect and will solve all my needs. And also I respect what others need or feel they must do.
