Zeutschel OS 7000

Specs: N/A
The Zeutschel OS7000 in the Imaging Department, located on the 5th floor of the courthouse, is getting a parity error in the SCSI card which prevents us from scanning.

This is a German Book Scanner that can scan huge books.

This is all the information I have. I am going down to the courthouse in three days. It could be a bad scsi cable. What else should I look for?

I wonder if the issue is still valid - here are my 2 cents.

Perhaps the SCSI termination / SCSI number is bad, has went off its setting. Often it is so that there is a manual clicking setting the SCSI number on the device, 1 small button for setting it higher number and another to set is smaller. If the number is not what is it is told to be in the driver / software, the thing won't work. Also, if it is the only device in the SCSI chain, it typically needs a hardware SCSI terminator - this can be missing / not set properly to the connector etc. Or then the cable is bad (not likely) or the SCSI card is faulty (not likely) or loose or the computer itself is bad.

I wonder if you get this message, as I have a favor to ask. I've come against with such a scanner, but no cables nor software. I'm looking for the TWAIN / ISIS drivers, which also your scanner's computer has within. Would it be possible to get a copy.. ,)

Thank you so much, good luck with the scanner.
