Hello There.

When I turn my computer on it will load as normal using the XP blue loading bar. After that, I goes to a black screen and does nothing at all.

It was suggested to me several times that it may be the Graphics Card. I've looked and there is only on board graphics.

So I've booted in VGA Mode (F8 > Enable VGA Mode) and it seems to be booting fine. I'm currently testing the memory..

Any Ideas?

Is this a laptop or a desktop computer. There are many Presario 6000 units listed.

Most have nvidia integrated graphics. Your computer is about the right age to fall into the bracket of motherboards with certain series of nvidia GPUs that have had excessive failure rates. Most were in laptops. This is due to overheating of the GPU.

You can try installing the drivers again. Go to the link below and enter the service tag number in order to get the correct drivers.
