Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, Intel Pentium G630
I have a VGA/DVI monitor (Dell 1905FP) and a VGA-only monitor (Dell IN1930). The problem is, that I want to connect both monitors to my Dell Vostro 260's integrated graphics, but there is only one VGA port. There is a HDMI port as well, and I though about using it for the second monitor. Would this* converter let me use the Dell 1905FP on the HDMI port with no more hassle?

It should be be fine. Using one or the other. What exactly is the goal? To have the monitor screen duplicated on the other two monitors? That should work okay if both the VGA port and HDMI port will display at the same time.

DVI & HDMI are digital. VGA is analog. Why would you want to convert HDMI to VGA? Why not just install a cheap video card that has the proper ports?

Yes, I agree with Rider. you would be better using a DVI to HDMI converter.

I am doing just that on my monitor where the the Video output is HDMI and the monitor is DVI. The second monitor is VGA from video card to monitor, Converting them both to VGA doesn't make sense.

Every video card I have seen with both HDMI/DVI and VGA output outputs to both ports. With the correct drivers you can then either duplicates each monitor or you can extend the main monitor onto the other giving you more space to play with,.

@riider: Why not just buy a £1.50 converter instead? That way I'll save money.

Would this* work then, if I use a HDMI cable between the adapter and the computer?

The should work with the appropriate cable. At $1.85 it doesn't really matter if it doesn't.
