Specs: Windows XP, 2GB
i have a dell and i need a new graphics card that can support newer pc games and i have been looking and I'm not sure if these would work in my computer, or if these would be enough for the game.

EVGA - GeForce 6200 512MB DDR2 AGP

PNY - Verto NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 512MB GDDR2 PCI

the game requires this card ":256MB DirectX 9.0c-compatible ATI HD2600 XT,
NVIDIA 7900 GS or Core i3 or better video card" would i be covered if i bought one of the other two?

I've got one of the 8400's and it is not that great for gaming. Are your choices AGP slot or PCI? I am assuming so.

Likely

"would i be covered if i bought one of the other two?"

Not even close. Here's a tip - if you're going to get a Geforce card in the 5000 thru 9000 series, the 2nd digit should be a 6 or greater. If it's 5 or less, it's not a good gaming card. It would help to know which game you're asking about & also the model/model number of your Dell - that way we could look up the specs & confirm which upgrade slot you have available. If you definitely have an AGP slot be aware that decent AGP gaming cards require more power than the slot can supply, therefore they need an aux power connector from the power supply. So make sure you power supply has an extra plug available & is also capable of handling the added load of the card.
