Specs: Windows Vista, E2160 @ 1.80Ghz
I have a work at home opportunity for a company that has minimum operating system requirements of 256 kbps download speeds, 200 kbps upload speeds and Processor 2.0 Ghz(no indication of single or dual) or higher, Total Physical Ram 512 mb or higher. I have 19.06 mbps download speeds, 1.99 mbps upload speeds, 1.80 Ghz Dual Core Pentium Processor Model CPU E2160, with Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. In your opinion since I meet all other requirements except Processor, do you think that my dual core processor will be as good as 2.0?

Yes. It will be as good as if not better than a single core 2Ghz. However, a lot depends on the applications you will be using. They have to be designed to use dual core. However, the difference between 1.8 Hhz and 2 Ghz is so small as not to be worth worrying about regardless of how many cores the CPU has.

Having said that, no one will know the difference unless someone actually comes and inspects your PC. If you are working from home your Internet speed is going to be the main factor and as you are within the criteria for that there shouldn't be a problem.

Just a suggestion......take a close look at the opportunity.
Do a search for internet scams....and a background check on the company.

If legit....I wish you the best.

Yes, good point by Worldlibrary. There are a lot of home-working Internet scams around. If they want money up front , to pay for stock for instance, walk away from it.
