when i switch comp on i get system battery low

System battery = CMOS battery. You don't charge it, you replace it. Look for the battery on your motherboard, it's about the size of a quarter. It will be a CR-2032. you can pick one up just about anywhere, grocery stores electronic stores, dept stores, etc.

OK, I guess you'll have to replace the battery then. What's the make/model of your system or make/model of your motherboard?
