hi i recently had to reinstall windows after what i thought was a corrupted os. i did that but now windows will not boot i removed and installed the hard drive on my desktop and it boots up just fine. any ideas on how to fix??
Or did you do the reinstall on the laptop's drive when it was connected to the desktop? If so that's the reason it won't boot (completely). You need to install the OS on the computer in which the drive is to be used.
