|Am trying to fix a friends laptop, which has a "windows system32 config system missing or corrupt" error.|
After the initial splash screen it tries to start windows and immediatly gets this error.
Have got it to boot using a boot CD I created but can't seem to get it to look at the C: drive. Says "invalid drive specification".
I am able to use fdisk and see partitions (I think - although not quite sure what it should look like) and it seemed ok. Utising a utilities CD I found.
No windows setup CD so not able to repair.
