Windows 7 laptop Graphics Memory issue after RAM upgrade

Specs: Windows 7, hp i7 1.6ghz/8gb ram
hello, my laptop was containing 4 gb ram, so i add more ram and i put 8gb ram
so before i put more ram, i enter dxdiag and see the vga was : 2275 mb
now i see :785mb :( what's wrong ??

What version of Windows 7 do you have? 32 bit or 64 bit.

i have 64 bit, of corse coz 32 bit, the 4 gb will be unusable , and i forget to tell u that after i put ram, i update the bios by hp support assistant, so maybe from the bios or the ram ?

i'm a graphic designer so this 758 mb will not affect any prob
on mu design progs, just i wanna know why suddenly downgrade to this minimum
