Win 8.1 not recognising Digitech XC-4906 via VGA

June 7, 2015 at 03:41:05
Specs: Windows 8.1
I seem to be having problems with my new Digitech XC-4906. I have connected the VGA out on my computer to the VGA in on the XC-4906, and the VGA out on the XC-4906 to a display. My computer is not recognizing the device as a possible display, and hence nothing is displayed on the screen, other than the blue screen outputted by the XC-4906 when no input is supplied.

Yes, I have verified that all my cables work.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated, even more so if it fixes the issue!

Is this the thing you're asking about?

Has it ever worked for you before or did you just get it? Are you sure the power supply is working? I can only guess that you need to play with the buttons on the front to enable "loop-through" mode.

Yup, that's it!

I've been able to get it to display the composite/RCA video correctly.

I don't seem to be able to set it to loop-through. The only button which seems to respond is the 'input' button, which just seems to change the source. The settings can also be changed on the s_video source setting... but I'm not really using this input.
