It's not just the hardware requirements you need to meet, you also have to consider which versions of PS are compatible with Windows 10.

If you are intending to become a new subscriber to Creative Cloud (Photoshop CC) then that's no problem, it'll work on Win10.

But if you've got an older PS version from the Creative Suite that you want to use instead, it needs to be CS3 or later as older versions won't run on Win10.

Wait for some other views but I've run Photoshop without issue on XP using quite run of the mill hardware.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I agree with Derek. I'm still running photoshop on XP without issues. Best bet is to check the specs on photoshop and see what the requirements are.

In general Photoshop runs best with a distinct graphics rather than integrated graphics, a quad core processor and a lot of RAM also makes a big improvement in responsiveness. The more you keep open at any time and the larger the files, the more memory you need to prevent it from bogging down.
I ordered an HP direct from the factory with upgraded options (USA) for my daughter two years ago for Photoshop, 3D Autocad, etc. and it still works well for her but it was a bit pricey.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
