Solved Will older enclosure suppore modern hard drive?

Specs: Windows 10, Intel Core i7-4790 || 32gig
I have an older SATA enclosure. Will it support a current SATA drive.

Motherboard MSI B85M-G43
CPU Intel i-7 4790
32Gigs RAM
Primary drive Samsung SSD
Auxiliary drive Western Digital 1TB

Until I get it home and try it I can't know if the connections on the drive match the enclosure, that's why I was asking. It says it's 6Gb/s so I guess that means it's SATA III

B85 motherboard should be SATA III or 6GB/s so you are good. Even SATA SSD drives are good though you may need a 2.5 to 3.5 mounting plate.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
