Will not turn on

Fujitsu Lifebook t4215 tablet pc

Specs: Windows XP
I have a relatively brand new Fujitsu T4215 tablet pc. We have used it a handful of times and since, has sat on the shelf untouched for probably 2 years. When I plug it in, I get no lights signaling its charging (though this is the correct AC adapter), I pull the battery out, no indication of power.

When I plug in a higher output AC adapter, I get the battery light blinking 1 time every second, signaling the tablet is getting too much power or that the AC adapter has too much voltage.

I am about to purchase a new battery for it, but was wondering if there are any tips out there I can do.

"When I plug in a higher output AC adapter"

Why would you do that. You can fry the charge regulator in your tablet doing that.

As for your problem, the transformer has probably gone caput in your power pack. Get a new power pack for your computer.
