Solved Will my current specs allow me to run at 120 hz

July 8, 2018 at 00:45:56
Specs: Windows 8.1, i7 (3.4 GHz) and 8 RAM
I have an Intel i7 that can clock up to 3.4 GHz, 8 gigs of RAM, and a GTX 950, can I run Overwatch on lowest settings at 120 hz? What about at medium settings? What about games such as PUBG where graphics are more intense? Thanks

I have no clue what these games are, so that is hard to tell.

GPU's count in FPS, frame per seconds, not in Herz, which is the refresh rate.

If you have a 120Hz monitor, you WILL have 120 images, but they may be all 120 identical on content, if your GPU can only deliver 1 FPS. The monitor just waits on new images, but in the mean time, it doesn't wait with refreshing, apart from when using V-sync.

Then, there's no such thing as an FPS rate, there is however this:
- a peak value
- a bottom value
- an average value
- a value which is often present
- etc.

So, what do you mean ?
