Do you think laptops will have interchangeable videocards some day? Because I love my current laptop but the only thing lacking is the videocard. Now I will buy another laptop that uses a Geforce videocard. This wasn't a concern for me back then as I didn't know a laptop would out perform my desktop, so now I use it as my main computer. If only I could pop out the videocard for another like I can with the RAM or Harddrive.

Some high end laptops do have interchangeable video cards - at a price.

Most laptops have built in video cards because of space and power constraints. This will not change if the foreseeable future..

Someday, maybe. But I tend to doubt it.
Laptops are a highly competitive product with price usually being a high priority. That being the case, manufacturers will cut non essential features that few people want. Most people don't even know what a video card is.

Personally, I think there will be fewer laptops with interchangeable video cards.

Laptops will never have interchangeable video cards.

Too much cost to add it in. Less reliability. No market for it.
