i have a amd athlon 5350 with a gigabyte ga-am1m-s2h 1 tb hard drive and 4 gig ram would a gtx 950 2gb work in it please tell me it would work

Assuming your power supply can handle it, I see no reason why not. It should be fine though others with more AMD experience will probably pop by soon to confirm this.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Seems like an odd combo. Why would you pair up a high end gaming card with such a low end CPU? As Fingers said, it should work as long as you have an adequate power supply, but my guess is the card will be bottlenecked by the CPU.

ok thank and my amd athlon 5350 works just fine i was just wantininga gtx 950 becuase i am gettinga intel i5 later on next year

I'm sure the CPU works fine, but it's a low end power efficient CPU that only requires 25W. It's not a gaming CPU. It will severely bottleneck the GTX 950. Plus because of the AM1 platform, the x16 card will only use x4 bandwidth, so that's an additional bottleneck. Save your money & get a cheaper graphics card to hold you over for a while. By the time you build an i5 system, the GTX 950 will be older & cheaper, or there may be a better performing card in the same price range by then.
