|I suspect the floppy was compressed. I don't think there is any easy way to recover compressed floppies. Can you see any files at all? What happens when you insert the floppy. Any lights or errors. See also event logs maybe for more clues.|
It also may be that the disk is bad or the drive is bad after all this time.
See if someone you know has an old system to view the disk. If it is compressed then your only choice is to somehow access an old W95 or maybe a W98. If the files were saved by some other deal then we'd have to know that.
