I have a Photosmart 6510 Series and when I try to print my MSword doc it prints my complete document in RED! I have no clue as to why this is happening. I’ve printed this document before in full black [which is what it is supposed to be] but now NOTHING :( all RED… can anyone figure this out because I’ve exhausted all my knowledge per the problem [obviously limited knowledge lol] PLEASE help...

Try printing a test page. Also check the printer properties to see what color text is set for. You may only have red ink left.

The 6510 has a black cartridge so it not that the other cartridges have run out and only printing red.

As Othehill suggested, try a test print straight from the printer, if it works, you either have a setup problem or your print drivers could be corrupt. Go to HP's website and download the newest drivers and install them.

Some printers will attempt to make Black ink if the Black ink tank is empty.
