Is there a test page feature on this printer? How does it look? What colors are missing?

Hi Bubba,

have any or all of the Ink Cartridges been changed?

If so, were Canon or oem ones used to replace?

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

How often do you print anything with that printer. Inkjets need regular use. The link below may be of some help.

If the print heads are bad, sometimes cleaning 3 or 4 times is necessary.
Print heads often have a life span, typically in years, not pages printed so less printing does not help and may actually hurt.
With some printers, the print heads are replaceable separately but many times are too expensive to bother replacing, nearly the same as a new printer.
Sometimes there are electrical contacts between the ink cartridge and the printer, if these get ink on them you get poor printing. Cleaning both surfaces with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips may help.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
