Why does my WD TV live media player not play video

October 13, 2014 at 14:44:14
Specs: Windows Vista
After watching a movie when selecting another, the directory comes up showing folders but no movie will start It shows the searching circle. If I go into setup and indicate returning to factory default, it will then work for one movie then the problem reappears. I do not ever attempt to change it from factory default.

you can try unplugging the wd live player for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. It should then reset the player. Some certain downloaded files may not play....in that case you have to convert them to another format. I use Freemake Video converter which is free. Just be sure to install freemake in custom mode and unselect any other things it tries to install, as they contain spy and adware.
