Why does Aptio Setup Utility appear on my new netbook?

Specs: Windows 8.1
Just got a new Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus. I was able to get it to recognize my home network. Then it went into the Aptio setup utility and I have no idea where I am at this point. After reading some of the other posts here, I don't think I want to continue to try to get out of this on my own. Hoping someone here can give me a list of steps that will get me to the system restore option.

Thanks beachyhbt. I definitely went through every suggestion I could find with a "Google" and those I tried did not work for me. Those I didn't try were, generally, for brands other than Samsung.

Thanks trvlr. I'd been through that before I posted here. However, I gave it another try just now and it still has no effect. Maybe it's the difference between an Asus and a Samsung laptop? I'm just about ready to initiate a return to the vendor.

I would go with a return to vendor; as anything "new" ought to work properly from day one?

If it's a case of things one needs to know about the Samsung, then either the vendor/support ought to be able to assist; or it's in the user manual?

Presuming the manual didn't arrive with it, or it's not on a CD etc.. here's a link to a download:

If the manual doesn't help you resolve it all - then definitely it's a case of "return to vendor" (address unknown - ooops that's Return to Sender Address Unknown - courtesy of Elvis P in the 50-60s?)

I have decided to return it.

Being a child of the 50s/60s - Return to sender, address unknown, no such number, no such zone......

mmm - had a certain cachet to it... He dun have a quite a few decent hits... What many may not know is that some of his early rock 'n roll hits were penned by Lieber and Stoller; and were originally in quite gentle (lyrical) tempos...

If the show "Smokey Joe's Cafe" ever comes to town.. go see it. It's all Lieber and Stoller music; and a great evening entertainment... The American cast (in the 90s) was superb. All were originally gospel singers so they knew how to really perform - without a mic... A lot of EP's hits are in the show - in original L&S) tempo/form...; and possibly in his "alternative" tempo too...
