You already have them in order - good, better, best.

The 3rd one has the best CPU, twice as much RAM (8GB vs 4GB), a larger hard drive (640GB vs 500GB) & better graphics (2nd one has the same graphics). Of course, that's all reflected in the price.

I am not worried about the hard drive space. I will only use about 100 G of hard drive anyways if that. I am worried about the speed though, seems like both have SATA 72,000 rpm which is good. As for the ram, do you think its cheaper to buy ram separate for that laptop or just better to buy as package deal inside laptop? I like newegg.com

I am also worried about the video card. Does the 2nd one and 3rd one have the same video card specs? Is the price worth it between the 2nd laptop and 3rd laptop?

I would go for the $699 model. It has a better battery. The processor speed is really a non issue on a laptop most of the time. The hard drive is only marginally smaller. Other specs appear to be the same.

The better battery does make the unit heavier though.

This product is listed as Refurbished. That means it was returned at some point. May have had something wrong or may not have. The big issue is if the warranty remains at the standard 1 year manufacture.

You may or may not know that Costco normally provides a free second year of warranty on computers. You need to find out what the total warranty is and if it is returnable.
