Specs: Windows xp
hello-
I am very interested in building a z80 computer, but I don't want to have to buy a bunch of seperate parts, and I have looked everywhere for some type of kit, but I can't find one! Any ideas?
Thanks,

The last time I saw a any kind of kit involving a Z80 was some time around 1982, just before the IBM PC hit the streets and rendered any with a Z80 in it obsolete.

I am afraid you are going to have to do the donkey work yourself.

Google z80 kit. A lot of the hits are people reminiscing about the old days but there might be some kits available. You might also try z80 "popular electronics". I remember they sometimes had projects like that.

It's not available yet, bit there is a guy at http://cpuville.com/Z80_kit.htm who claims to be developing such a kit. Otherwise look at eBay where you sometimes find old Z80 computers for sale.

You not only need a computer but an operating system CP/M and software - Wordstar and SuperCalc. and accessories 51/4 or 8 inch floppies and MFM hard drives. I still have a Xerox system originally used for word processing and spreadsheets.
