Hello all
I have a Dell Latitude D600 and i done something clumbsee as i hade pluged in the power cord in the outlet and then i went to plug it in the Laptop and when i did i touched the metal just arround it and iy made a small spark. So now when i power it up the Laptop all i get is the lights go on for about 5 seconds and then closes. Can anybody tell me what can be wrong with it.

Could have damaged the power brick or the charging/power circuit inside the laptop. If you can find someone with the same power brick, you might be able to determine which. It's also possible that both were damaged. Unless you're well-versed in using a voltmeter, there's little else other than an running it by a repair shop to know for sure.
