How do you view the minidump files after the blue screen. I am running windows 7 pro. I am told these files will show the hardware at fault causing frequent blue screen

They might. There's no guarantee, and much can happen to cause the finger to be pointed at some innocent driver. That's the reason why such information isn't given to the general public.

That said, you'll need to download the appropriate set of debugging tools for whatever version of Windows you have, then configure it to use Microsoft's public symbol server.

You could also find someone who already has the tools installed, and ask him to analyze the dumps.

MiniDump files are primarily useful for troubleshooting software problems, such as with device drivers. They can only indirectly indicate a hardware problem.

You should be aware that using MiniDump files is not a simple thing. It isn't like opening the file with an application that tells you what the problem is. If only life were that simple.

Minidump analysis is an advanced topic for advanced users. Most users are best served by simply taking note of the error code and doing some research with Google.
