Hi Vincent

as Wizard-Fred advises, it is a Ribbon-cable, sometimes called a Stripline.

Problem with these is, if handled incorrectly they can fail.

The problem then is finding a replacement as often they are proprietry items, e.g. using odd connectors that cannot be purchasaed and/or odd cable lengths.

Best to see if the manufacturer supplies one as a spare.

Alternatively, it might be possible for a local electronic (not pc) repair shop to solder a wire on to bypass a failed connection.

Please advise back on progress.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

Well, I wasn't able to find a new ribbon cable. I gave it back to the person who owned it, and advised that they purchase a new broadcasting device. They are currently using the TriCaster as a file player for their channel. Thanks for all the help.
