OK i gather this is for devices i don't have. I don't fully understand even after looking at that but i don't know what home theaters really are. I guess they are something for the rich like cable tv in australia. Well there are people that have it but i have no idea why as it is crap...we don't get good shoes here wether you have cable tv or not. Not like in the states :0) Thanks for the info :0)

There are several different video connection possibilities on a graphics card - VGA, DVI, RCA, S-video, HDMI are the most common. Click on the links on the right side of this wikipedia page if you need details or pictures:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_...

Home theater is basically a small scale version of a movie theater in your home, therefore the name "Home Theater". Rather than just having a TV in the living room, there's a dedicated room with a large HDTV, DVD or BluRay player, & surround sound system. If a computer is hooked into as well, the computer is generally called an HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computer). You may have seen some posts where people have asked about video cards or the differences between a gaming video card & an HTPC video card?
