No matter what I am looking at the screen flickers? It doesn't matter if it is the internet or a spread sheet. It reminds me of popups trying to come through. By the way, the popup blocker is on and working. The computer is about a month old. I have a feeling that someone may have dropped it and figured they didn't need to tell me, and being that the computer is secured by fingerprint recognition, they couldn't check anythng. Could this be the problem, or hopefully something easier? Is there any way to know if it has been dropped?

Yes, that could be the problem.
That is one of the most frequent reasons components inside the laptop are damaged.

The only way of checking it to see if has been dropped for sure, if there isn't any physical damage visible on the outside of it, is to have have a laptop technician take it apart and examine it - they know what to look for.

Thank you!
There is no visible damge to the outside (my guess as to why I wouldn't be told) and I pretty much figured I'd have to bring it in, but wasn't sure if it would be something that a tech would be able to tell. One of those things that irritates a person becasue it's less than a month old. Oh well - things happen...
Thank you again for the info.
