Specs: Windows 7
what memory to use with a biostar hi-fi z87x3d
core 5i 4670k. 8 or 16 megs of memory (2*4) or (4*2)
Mostly used for gaming.

Personally I've never had any problems with Crucial & their service is brilliant - if you use their scanner it will give you your options.

Here's the board specs:

If you want 8GB, you should get 2 x 4GB, if you want 16GB, you should get 2 x 8GB. That way you can always add more in the future. And it should be DDR3-1600 (or faster) at 1.5v. Here's a couple of possibilities:

I agree with the Ripjaw memory, i use this in my personal machine and for other gaming builds and it performs extrememly well and can be overlocked heavily if needed
