Hello all

Got a big puzzle with my screen resolution.

First go a nice amp witch is a Yamaha RXA-1000. Second i run a HDMI cable from my computer to my Yamaha all of this is fine. Now to the resolution. Usually i should select duplicate these displays and voila i should get my image on my desktop and also on my big screen thru my Yamaha since everything is hooked up via HDMI. But no for some reason i get a different image on my big screen then on my desktop. Very puzzled about this. Also if i close my Yamaha then of course my big screen closes but why does my desktop screen also closes this also is a puzzle for me. I have also tried the duplicate these screens and get the same results except i get the right screen on my big TV. I know it should work because this is my friends computer and also Yamaha and i have the exact same thing with the Yamaha and i have no problems everything works just great. The only difference between him and me is that my desktop has a 24" Asus monitor witch is about 1 year old and his desktop monitor is a 21" HP but quiet old and i would say about 15 years but a darn good one. Can it be that this old monitor is causing all the trouble as it is not compatible with all the new stuff like this video card ASUS (HD7790-DC2OC-1GD5) Radeon HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 | 800 MHz Clock, 5000 MHz

Any help would be well appreciated

Thanks

You need to configure the display settings separately using the AMD Vision Control Center.

Thanks

Will try this as i do have the ADM installed so i will need to play around with this mode and try to figure this out. Should be easy. I thought maybe it was due to the old computer monitor that was causing an hardware problem.

Hello all

Problem still not fixed as the monitor is still closing even after adjusting with the ADM. The monitor is an old monitor and i am trying to find the manual on this monitor. It is an HP model number S2105 So if anybody has this manual i would be a tacker for it.

Thanks all
