Specs: Windows Vista
After installing nVidia driver updates, the desktop resolution is completely messed up. Upon restart, the screen res is massive and if you reboot, you can't even enter bios, Safe Mode, or get to any desktop items or start bar. Can't open any programs and can't even get to a point to do a system restore.

Forgot to mention this is being typed from other computer as the keyboard doesn't seem to register now and there is no way to access the internet on that computer.

Video drivers wouldn't prevent you getting into cmos/bios setup and probably wouldn't prevent safe mode. Can you get to the F8 boot menu?

Maybe there's a problem with the keyboard.

Bah, humbug

Nothing worked.... F8, I mean nothing... so after unplugging the monitor completely, reconnecting it and saying lots of prayers, it's working...weirdest problem ever but fixed itself apparently.

Glad you got it working. But it's not so perplexing when you understand that computers can have their own personalities. The can be stubborn or obstinate for no apparent reason. Then just as unexpectedly they can straighten up and fly right.

Well anyway, it seems that way. Sometimes that's the only explanation that fits.
