virtual memory too low

Specs: Windows XP
I keep getting a message in bottom lower right of my computer that says' Virtual Memory too low" does that mean I need more memory? I do spend alot of time in virtual worlds..

You need to set Virtual Memory to System Managed:

If you have adequate memory for your workload then a system managed pagefile should be more than adequate. If you still get these errors then you need more RAM.

Not sure what to make of that statement. Virtual memory means it is not physical RAM. It is space on your hard drive that is reserved as a swap file when needed.

Me too...& I don't need a computer to do it ;-)

Could it be that your HDD or partition is running low on storage space?
