Specs: Windows 7
Sometimes when i want to turn on my machine nothing will come up on the monitor but i can hear the computer booting up. Now if i unplug everything and leave it alone for a couple of minutes i can boot up but lately its been cutting out in the middle of me using the machine. I switched out the DVI, tried HDMI and still nothing changes. i used another computer with the monitor and there are no issues. I am completely clueless as to what the issue is.

MAXIMUS V EXTREME - motherboard
I7 3770k
GTX680-DC2O-2GD5 - graphics card
Corsair 850w - PSU
HAF X 942 - case
Noctuna NHD14 - cpu cooler
OCZ Vetex 3 and OCZ Agility 3 in Raid 0
two 3tb seagate 7200rpm HDD's

i re imaged the machine and still have the same issue.

Re-imaging isn't going to fix a hardware problem.
