VGA Output to TV not working

Gigabyte Geforce gt 430 video card

Specs: Windows Vista/Mac, Core 2 2.66/4 GB
I have a dual boot Dell Optiplex 755 DT with GT 430 Video Card.
- When I connect Video Card VGA to My Polaroid 4011-TLXB, the TV shows "No signal", no boot screen, dell logo or anything (It used to work, until my kid pushed the power button on the PC; not sure if that has anything to do with it)

- If I removed the VGA from my TV to a Monitor I have it works.

- Connecting PC onboard VGA to TV works.

- Connecting video card DVI to VGA adapter to TV does not work.

- DVI to Monitor works.

- Connecting Video Card HDMI to TV, there is a signal but the picture is understandably not great.

I replaced the battery and cleared the CMOS.

"Connecting Video Card HDMI to TV, there is a signal but the picture is understandably not great"

HDMI is nothing more than DVI & audio pushed thru a single cable. The display quality should be the same whether DVI or HDMI is used. Either DVI or HDMI should provide a better image than VGA.
